Fern Personality: A Calm and Kind Mage

Fern is a young human mage who travels with Frieren, the elven protagonist, as her apprentice and companion.

Fern is a calm, kind, polite, and intelligent girl who often acts like a mother to Frieren, who is sloppy in her daily life. She is also very curious and eager to learn more about magic and the world.

Fern was an orphan who was raised by Heiter, a former priest and a member of the party that defeated the Demon King. Heiter taught her the basics of magic and gave her a loving home. He also introduced her to Frieren, who was his old friend and comrade.

Fern decided to join Frieren on her journey after Heiter passed away, leaving her a letter that asked her to take care of Frieren and see the Era Meteors with her. Fern wanted to honor Heiter’s wish and also learn more from Frieren, who was a legendary mage and a hero.

Fern’s personality is influenced by both Heiter and Frieren. She inherited Heiter’s kindness, compassion, and faith, as well as his interest in magic and history. She also developed a strong bond with Frieren, who treated her as a friend and a partner, despite their differences in age and race.
