Veldora is a boisterous, excitable, and easy-going dragon. He is very energetic, prideful, and loves to show off his strength and abilities. He has no social tact, seeming to not understand that a simple request from him is enough to intimidate anyone into compliance regardless of their own personal feelings.

Veldora’s personality is largely shaped by his origins and experiences. He was born as the youngest of the four True Dragons, the children of the God Dragon Veldanava. He inherited his father’s will to protect the world and his mother’s love for freedom and adventure. He grew up with his elder siblings, Velzard, Velgrynd, and Veldanava, who taught him various things and played with him.

However, Veldora’s life changed drastically when his brother Veldanava died, leaving behind his wife Lucia and his daughter Milim. Veldora felt grief and anger, and blamed the humans for his brother’s death. He also felt lonely and abandoned, as his sisters left him to pursue their own paths. He decided to follow his mother’s footsteps and explore the world, seeking excitement and fun.

Veldora’s wanderlust led him to many places and adventures, but also to many troubles and conflicts. He often caused disasters and calamities with his reckless actions, earning him the reputation of a rampaging idiot and a catastrophe-level threat. He also made many enemies, such as the Demon Lords, the Western Saints Church, and the Summoned Heroes. He was eventually sealed by a hero named Chloe O’Bell, who used an Ultimate Skill called Infinite Prison to trap him in an endless space.

Veldora spent 300 years in the seal, bored and lonely. He had no contact with the outside world, and no one to talk to. He passed the time by reading manga and novels that he stored in his stomach, and by practicing his skills and magic. He also developed a sense of curiosity and interest in the human culture and society, as he learned from the books he read.

Veldora’s personality changed significantly when he met Rimuru, a slime who was reincarnated from a human named Satoru Mikami. Rimuru stumbled upon Veldora’s seal while exploring a cave, and decided to talk to him. Veldora was overjoyed to have someone to converse with, and quickly befriended Rimuru. He also learned to restrain and control his power and aura, to avoid causing unnecessary harm or fear. He became more mature and responsible, but also more playful and mischievous. He enjoyed teasing and pranking Rimuru and his subordinates, and having fun with them. He also developed a sense of loyalty and gratitude to Rimuru, and a desire to help him achieve his goals.

Relationships

Rimuru Tempest: Veldora’s best friend and sworn brother. He respects and admires Rimuru for his intelligence, charisma, and kindness. He is also fond of his cute and fluffy appearance, and often hugs and cuddles him. He is very loyal and protective of Rimuru, and will do anything to support him and his nation. He also likes to tease and joke with him, and sometimes competes with him in various games and challenges. He considers Rimuru as his family, and trusts him completely.

Milim Nava: Veldora’s niece and the daughter of his brother Veldanava and his wife Lucia. He loves and cares for Milim, and treats her as his own daughter. He is proud of her strength and beauty, but also worried about her childish and impulsive personality. He tries to guide and discipline her, but often fails due to her stubbornness and whims. He is also jealous of her friendship with Rimuru, and sometimes fights with her for his attention. He is happy to see her grow and mature, and hopes to see her find happiness and peace.

Velzard and Velgrynd: Veldora’s elder sisters and fellow True Dragons. He respects and loves them, and considers them as his mentors and role models. He often seeks their advice and approval, and tries to impress them with his achievements. He also likes to play and chat with them, and reminisce about their past. He sometimes argues and bickers with them, but he always reconciles with them. He is grateful for their support and encouragement, and hopes to stay with them forever.

Ifrit: Veldora’s subordinate and friend. He met Ifrit when he was summoned by a human named Shizu, who was possessed by him. Veldora sensed his presence and power, and decided to challenge him to a fight. He was impressed by Ifrit’s fire magic and spirit, and offered him to join him as his follower. Ifrit accepted, and became Veldora’s loyal servant and companion. Veldora treats Ifrit as his equal and partner, and often consults him on various matters. He also likes to spar and train with him, and to share his knowledge and experience with him.
