Isabella is the caretaker of the Grace Field House Plant 3, where she raises the children as “premium goods” for the demons who rule the world.

Isabella's Personality

Isabella is a twisted and manipulative mother who shows a false facade of love and care to the children under her supervision. She is intelligent, cunning, ruthless, and pragmatic, willing to do anything to maintain her position and survive in the cruel system. She is also loyal to the demons and the Ratri clan, who control the farms and the human society.
Isabella was once an orphan herself, who lived in Grace Field House with her best friend Leslie. She was cheerful, optimistic, and adventurous, dreaming of seeing the outside world. She learned a song from Leslie that became her favorite and later sang it to her son Ray. However, her life changed when Leslie was shipped out and killed by the demons, and she attempted to escape from the farm. She was confronted by the harsh reality of the world and the cliff that separated the humans from the demons. She was then offered a choice by the Grandmother, the head of the farms, to either become a Mama or be killed. She chose the former and underwent a rigorous training, where she was artificially inseminated and gave birth to Ray. She had to give up her child and never see him again, which further hardened her heart.
Isabella became the youngest and the best Mama in the history of the farms, taking charge of Plant 3 at the age of 19. She raised the children with care and affection, but also with strict rules and discipline. She monitored their every move and implanted tracking devices in their ears. She was aware of their fate as food for the demons, but she did not feel any remorse or pity for them. She saw them as products and sources of income, and she enjoyed the comfortable life she had as a Mama. She also had a twisted sense of love for them, believing that she was giving them a happy childhood before their inevitable death. She did not want them to suffer or struggle, and she tried to prevent them from escaping or learning the truth.
However, her plans were foiled by Emma, Norman, and Ray, three of her smartest and most beloved children, who discovered the secret of the farm and orchestrated a mass escape. Isabella tried to stop them with all her means, using her intelligence, manipulation, and violence. She broke Emma’s leg, locked Norman in a room, and set fire to the house. She also revealed to Ray that he was her biological son, hoping to sway his emotions. However, she was ultimately outsmarted and outmatched by the children, who managed to escape with the help of Sister Krone, a former subordinate of Isabella who betrayed her. Isabella accepted her defeat and wished the children farewell, hoping that they would find a light in the outside world. She also sang Leslie’s song as a sign of her genuine love for Ray.
