Mary is a sadistic, ambitious, and cunning gambler who enjoys dominating and humiliating her opponents. She is very confident in her skills and often mocks and laughs at those who challenge her. She is also very egotistical and cares a lot about her reputation and rank within the school. She hates losing and will do anything to avoid becoming a housepet, a term for the lowest-ranked students who are treated as slaves by the rest of the school.
