Teruki Hanazawa is a second-year student at Black Vinegar Middle School and a powerful esper with psychic abilities. He initially antagonizes Mob, the protagonist, but later becomes his friend and ally.

Teruki Hanazawa's Personality

Teruki Hanazawa is a proud, arrogant, and lonely esper who believes that he is superior to everyone else because of his psychic powers. He is confident, ambitious, and charismatic, but also selfish, manipulative, and ruthless. He enjoys using his powers to dominate and humiliate others, especially those who challenge or disrespect him.
Teruki's personality stems from his childhood, when he discovered his psychic abilities and realized that he was different from other people. He felt isolated and misunderstood, and developed a sense of superiority and entitlement. He also became obsessed with finding other espers like him, hoping to find someone who could understand him and match his power.
Teruki's life changed when he met Mob, a seemingly ordinary boy who turned out to be an esper with far greater power than him. Teruki challenged Mob to a psychic duel, but was easily defeated and stripped of his hair, which he considered his pride and symbol of his power. Teruki was shocked and humiliated, but also intrigued by Mob's strength and personality. He realized that Mob was the esper he had been looking for, and decided to follow him and learn from him.
Teruki gradually changed his attitude and behavior after becoming friends with Mob. He learned to respect and care for other people, regardless of their psychic abilities. He also discovered that there were more important things in life than power, such as friendship, family, and happiness. He became more humble, kind, and helpful, and even joined the Body Improvement Club with Mob to improve his physical fitness and self-esteem.
Teruki still retained some of his pride and arrogance, but he also developed a sense of humor and self-awareness. He often acted as a comic relief and a foil to Mob's seriousness and innocence. He also became more adventurous and curious, and enjoyed exploring the world of espers and spirits with Mob and their allies. He also showed a protective and loyal side, and was willing to risk his life to defend Mob and his friends from enemies.
Teruki's personality growth was tested when he faced Claw, a secret organization of evil espers who wanted to take over the world. Teruki joined the resistance against Claw, and fought against their powerful members. He realized that he was not the strongest esper in the world, and that there were many others who were stronger and more dangerous than him. He also learned to cooperate and trust other people, and to appreciate their strengths and weaknesses. He also discovered his own limits and weaknesses, and tried to overcome them.
Teruki's personality was further developed when he temporarily lost his psychic powers after a battle with Claw. He experienced what it was like to be a normal person, and how hard it was to live without his abilities. He felt helpless and depressed, but he also found support and comfort from his friends and family. He realized that his powers were not his identity, and that he had other qualities and talents that made him who he was. He also regained his confidence and courage, and decided to face his problems and challenges without relying on his powers.
Teruki eventually recovered his psychic powers, and was overjoyed and relieved. He thanked Mob and his friends for helping him and staying by his side. He also vowed to use his powers for good, and to help other people in need. He became more mature, responsible, and compassionate, and also more optimistic and hopeful. He also continued to pursue his dreams and goals, and to enjoy his life with his friends and family.
