Chrome is a young man who lives in Ishigami Village, a small community of humans who survived the petrification event that turned most of humanity into stone statues. He is fascinated by the natural resources around him and experiments with them, calling himself a sorcerer.
Chrome's Personality
Chrome is a curious, passionate, energetic, optimistic, and loyal person who loves to explore the wonders of nature and science. He is always eager to learn new things and try new experiments, even if they are dangerous or difficult. He is not afraid to challenge himself or others, and he is confident in his abilities and intelligence.
Chrome was born in Ishigami Village in the year 5723 AD, about 3700 years after the petrification event. He grew up in a primitive society that had no knowledge of the modern world or its achievements. He was different from the other villagers, who were content with their simple lives and traditions. He had a natural curiosity and a knack for collecting and manipulating various materials, such as rocks, metals, plants, and chemicals. He called these materials his “treasures” and stored them in his hut, which he called his “lab”.
Chrome’s curiosity led him to discover many phenomena that the other villagers considered to be magic or sorcery, such as electricity, magnetism, fire, and light. He used these phenomena to impress and entertain the villagers, as well as to help them with their problems. He also used them to woo Ruri, the village priestess and his childhood crush, whom he wanted to marry and cure of her mysterious illness. Chrome’s life changed when he met Senku, a de-petrified human who came to the village with Taiju and Yuzuriha, two other de-petrified humans. Senku revealed to Chrome that he was a scientist from the modern world, and that he knew the secrets behind Chrome’s sorcery. Chrome was initially skeptical and hostile towards Senku, seeing him as a rival for Ruri’s affection and a threat to his status as a sorcerer. However, he soon realized that Senku was telling the truth and that he had much more to learn from him. He became Senku’s apprentice and friend, and joined his Kingdom of Science, a faction that aimed to revive civilization and restore humanity’s glory.
Chrome’s personality developed as he learned more about science and the world from Senku. He became more knowledgeable, creative, and resourceful, as well as more courageous, determined, and resilient. He participated in many of Senku’s projects and inventions, such as making iron, glass, antibiotics, electricity, and communication devices. He also faced many dangers and enemies, such as Tsukasa’s Empire of Might, a rival faction that opposed Senku’s vision and wanted to create a new world order. He proved himself to be a valuable and reliable member of the Kingdom of Science, and one of Senku’s most trusted allies.
Chrome’s personality also influenced Senku and the other members of the Kingdom of Science. He brought joy and enthusiasm to their endeavors, and inspired them with his curiosity and passion. He also challenged them to think outside the box and to be more adventurous and flexible. He was loyal and supportive of his friends, and willing to sacrifice himself for their sake. He was especially close to Senku, whom he considered to be his best friend and mentor. He admired Senku’s genius and vision, but also cared for him as a person and tried to make him smile and have fun.

- Senku: Chrome’s best friend and mentor. They share a love for science and a desire to revive civilization. - Suika: Chrome’s friend and fellow member of the Kingdom of Science. She is a young girl who wears a watermelon rind on her head. She is curious and helpful, and often assists Senku and Chrome with their experiments and investigations. She also spies on their enemies and gathers information for them. She looks up to Chrome as an older brother and a role model, and admires his courage and passion. She also cares for him and worries about him when he is in danger. She made him a new headband after his old one was destroyed.
