Gen Asagiri's Personality
Gen is a cunning, creative, and charismatic person who enjoys playing mind games and tricking people. He is also very resourceful and adaptable, using his skills and knowledge to survive and thrive in various situations. He is not very interested in science or hard work, but he is loyal to his friends and allies, especially Senku. He is also very curious and open-minded, willing to learn new things and explore new possibilities. He is often seen as a comic relief character, providing humor and sarcasm to lighten the mood.
Gen was born in Tokyo, Japan, in the year 2000. He was a highly accomplished magician and mentalist, who performed on national television and had a large fan base. He was also very popular with women, who found him attractive and charming. He enjoyed his life of fame and fortune, and did not care much about anything else. He was petrified by a mysterious phenomenon in the year 2019, while he was in the middle of a live broadcast.
He was revived by Tsukasa Shishio, the leader of the Tsukasa Empire, in the year 5739. Tsukasa was a powerful martial artist who wanted to create a new world order, where only the young and pure-hearted would live. He opposed Senku’s vision of restoring civilization with science and technology, and planned to destroy all the petrified statues of the old world. Tsukasa recruited Gen as a spy, and sent him to infiltrate the Kingdom of Science, a small village of primitive people who allied with Senku. Gen agreed to work for Tsukasa, but he was not fully committed to his cause. He was more interested in finding out what Senku was up to, and what kind of world he wanted to create.
Gen met Senku and his friends in the Ishigami Village, and pretended to be a friendly traveler. He was impressed by Senku’s intelligence and inventions, such as electricity, light bulbs, and cola. He also befriended some of the villagers, such as Chrome, a self-taught scientist, and Kaseki, a skilled craftsman. He realized that Senku was not a tyrant or a madman, but a visionary and a leader. He also learned that Senku was the son of Byakuya Ishigami, an astronaut who was in space when the petrification occurred, and who founded the Ishigami Village. Gen was moved by Senku’s determination to fulfill his father’s legacy, and decided to switch sides and join the Kingdom of Science.
Gen became one of Senku’s most trusted allies, and helped him in various ways. He used his mentalist skills to deceive and manipulate the enemies, such as Magma, a violent warrior who wanted to kill Senku, and Homura, a gymnast who worked for Tsukasa. He also used his creativity and resourcefulness to assist in the development of new inventions, such as the telephone, the radio, and the drone. He also acted as a mediator and a negotiator, bridging the gap between different cultures and factions, such as the Ishigami Village, the Tsukasa Empire, and the Petrification Kingdom. He also provided humor and entertainment, making jokes and impressions of various celebrities and characters.
Gen faced many challenges and dangers in his journey with Senku and the Kingdom of Science. He was attacked and wounded by Magma, who tried to stop him from reporting to Tsukasa. He was also petrified and revived several times, by different sources and methods. He traveled across the world, from Japan to America, and encountered new enemies and allies, such as Dr. Xeno, a former NASA scientist who wanted to conquer the world, and Stanley Snyder, a former US soldier who worked for Xeno. He also witnessed the wonders and mysteries of the stone world, such as the petrification device, the Whyman, and the moon.
