Merlin is the Boar’s Sin of Gluttony, the second-in-command of the Seven Deadly Sins, and the greatest mage in Britannia. She is also the master of Vivian and the teacher of King Arthur of Camelot.
Merlin's Personality
Merlin is a mysterious, cunning, and powerful mage who has a great thirst for knowledge and magic. She is confident, calm, and composed in any situation, often displaying a playful and teasing attitude towards her friends and enemies. She is loyal to her comrades, especially Meliodas, whom she has loved for over 3000 years. She is also protective of Arthur, whom she sees as the future king of Camelot and the hope of Britannia.
Merlin was born in Belialuin, the capital of the Kingdom of Magic, as the daughter of the chief of the Wisemen Clan. She was gifted with the power of Infinity, which allows her to manipulate the properties and effects of her spells indefinitely. She was considered a prodigy and a miracle by her people, who revered her as the Daughter of Belialuin. However, she was also feared and envied by many, who saw her as a threat and a curse.
When she was a child, Merlin met Meliodas, the leader of the Goddess Clan’s elite force, the Four Archangels. She was fascinated by his power and personality, and developed a crush on him. She also met Elizabeth, the Supreme Deity’s daughter and Meliodas’ lover, who treated her kindly and gave her a gift. Merlin decided to join Meliodas in his rebellion against the Demon Clan and the Goddess Clan, hoping to end the Holy War and create a peaceful world where they could live together.
However, her plan was foiled by the Supreme Deity and the Demon King, who cursed Meliodas and Elizabeth with eternal life and reincarnation, respectively. Merlin was devastated by this, and decided to dedicate her life to finding a way to break their curses. She also vowed to protect Elizabeth’s reincarnations, as she felt guilty for betraying her friend. She used her power of Infinity to stop her aging, and began to travel the world in search of knowledge and magic.
Along the way, she met and befriended many people, such as Escanor, the Lion’s Sin of Pride, whom she saved from his curse of Sunshine and gave him a place to belong; Gowther, the Goat’s Sin of Lust, whom she freed from his creator’s control and taught him about emotions; and Arthur, the young prince of Camelot, whom she recognized as the chosen wielder of Excalibur and the prophesied king of chaos. She also joined the Seven Deadly Sins, a group of legendary knights led by Meliodas, who accepted her as one of their own.
Merlin participated in many adventures and battles with the Seven Deadly Sins, such as fighting against the Holy Knights, the Ten Commandments, the Demon Clan, and the Four Archangels. She also helped Meliodas and Elizabeth in their quest to break their curses, even at the cost of betraying her former allies and risking her own life. She also supported Arthur in his rise to the throne of Camelot, and defended him from the enemies who sought to kill him. She also faced her own past, when she confronted her father, who had become a demon and tried to take her power of Infinity.

She also invited him to join the Seven Deadly Sins, and gave him a place to belong.
