Zeke Jaeger is the son of Grisha Jaeger and Dina Fritz, the older half-brother of Eren Jaeger, and the current holder of the Beast Titan. He is also a member of the royal family from his mother’s side, which gives him the ability to manipulate the Titans with his scream.

Zeke Jaeger's Personality

Zeke Jaeger is a highly intelligent and inquisitive person, who excels at strategy, planning, and manipulation. He is able to orchestrate long-term events, and is willing to ruthlessly cut down anything in the way of his ultimate goal. He is also very adaptable and flexible, able to change his plans according to the situation. He has a keen interest in science and biology, especially in the nature of the Titans and their origins. He often experiments with his Titan power, and collects various specimens for his research.
Zeke Jaeger is also a very cold and detached person, who shows little emotion or empathy for others. He is indifferent to the suffering and death of his fellow Eldians, and even his own family. He views them as mere tools or obstacles for his mission. He is also very arrogant and confident in his abilities, and looks down on those who oppose him or challenge him. He has a sarcastic and mocking sense of humor, often taunting and provoking his enemies. He is also very secretive and deceptive, hiding his true intentions and motives from both sides of the war.
Zeke Jaeger’s personality is largely shaped by his traumatic childhood and upbringing. He was born in the internment zone of Liberio, where the Eldians were oppressed and discriminated by the Marleyan government. He was indoctrinated by his parents, who were members of the Eldian Restorationists, a rebel group that sought to overthrow Marley and restore the Eldian Empire. They forced him to become a Warrior Candidate, a child soldier who would inherit one of the Nine Titans and fight for Marley. They also implanted him with the idea that he was the key to their plan, as he had the royal blood and could activate the Founding Titan.
However, Zeke Jaeger soon realized that his parents did not love him, and only used him for their cause. He felt lonely and neglected, and suffered from the pressure and expectations that were placed on him. He also witnessed the harsh reality of the war, and the atrocities that the Titans committed against the innocent people. He began to question his parents’ ideology, and wondered if the Eldians were really the chosen people, or the devils that deserved to be wiped out. He found a father figure and a mentor in Tom Xaver, the previous holder of the Beast Titan, who shared his interest in Titan research. Xaver also revealed to him the truth about the history of the Eldians and the Titans, and the curse that they carried. He convinced him that the only way to end the cycle of hatred and violence was to sterilize all the Eldians, and prevent them from reproducing. He also encouraged him to betray his parents and the Restorationists, and join the Marleyan military as a loyal Warrior.
Zeke Jaeger followed Xaver’s advice, and inherited the Beast Titan from him. He became the War Chief of the Warriors, and led many successful campaigns against the enemies of Marley. He also devised a plan to infiltrate Paradis Island, and retrieve the Founding Titan from his half-brother, Eren Jaeger. He pretended to be loyal to Marley, but secretly contacted Eren and tried to persuade him to join his cause. He also formed an alliance with the Anti-Marleyan Volunteers, a group of former soldiers and rebels who opposed Marley’s tyranny. He claimed that he wanted to free the Eldians from Marley’s oppression, and restore their dignity and rights. However, his true goal was to use the Founding Titan and his royal blood to activate the “Euthanasia Plan”, which would render all the Eldians infertile, and end their existence peacefully.
Zeke Jaeger’s plan was thwarted by the resistance of Eren and his allies, who refused to accept his vision of salvation. He also faced the wrath of Levi Ackermann, the captain of the Survey Corps, who swore to kill him for his crimes. He was captured and imprisoned by the Yeagerists, a faction of soldiers and civilians who followed Eren’s will. He managed to escape with the help of his loyal follower, Yelena, and met with Eren in Shiganshina. He tried to activate the Founding Titan by touching Eren’s head, but was surprised to find that Eren had betrayed him as well. Eren revealed that he had his own plan, which was to use the Founding Titan and his royal blood to activate the “Rumbling”, which would unleash the millions of Titans within the walls, and destroy the world outside of Paradis. He also revealed that he had manipulated Zeke’s memories, and made him believe that he agreed with his plan. He then severed their connection, and left Zeke behind.
Zeke Jaeger was devastated by Eren’s betrayal, and realized that he had failed his mission. He also realized that he had been wrong about his parents, and that they did love him, and regretted their actions. He felt that he had wasted his life, and wished that he had never been born. He was then confronted by Armin Arlert, the holder of the Colossal Titan, and one of Eren’s friends. Armin tried to reason with Zeke, and convince him to help them stop Eren. He also tried to show him the beauty and value of life, and the hope for a better future. He told him that he was not a mistake, and that he had a choice. He asked him to join them, and fight for the freedom of all the people.
Zeke Jaeger was moved by Armin’s words, and decided to change his mind. He agreed to help them stop Eren, and activated his scream to free all the Titans from Eren’s control. He also apologized to his parents, and thanked Xaver for his guidance. He then sacrificed himself, and gave his Titan power to Armin, who used it to destroy Eren’s Titan form. He died with a smile on his face, and a sense of peace in his heart.
