Inosuke Hashibira is one of the main characters of the anime Demon Slayer and a traveling companion of Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado. He is also a Demon Slayer in the Demon Slayer Corps and the creator of his own sword style, the Beast Breathing. He is known for his wild and aggressive personality, his boar mask, and his dual-wielding swords.

Inosuke Hashibira's Personality

Inosuke is a wild, rebellious, impulsive, competitive, and loud person who loves to fight and test his strength against others. He has a strong sense of pride and often boasts about his abilities and achievements. He is also very stubborn and independent, refusing to listen to anyone or follow any rules. He is easily provoked and angered by anyone who challenges or insults him, and he does not hesitate to attack or retaliate. He is also very curious and adventurous, always eager to explore new places and face new dangers.
Inosuke’s personality is largely shaped by his harsh and lonely upbringing. He was born to a woman named Kotoha Hashibira, who was a descendant of a family that practiced the Breath of the Beast. She was forced to marry a man who abused her and tried to kill her unborn child. She managed to escape and gave birth to Inosuke in the mountains, but she died shortly after. Inosuke was then raised by a boar, who taught him how to survive in the wild. He learned to hunt, fight, and adapt to his environment, but he also developed a feral and animalistic behavior. He had no contact with other humans until he was 15 years old, when he encountered a Demon Slayer who was killed by a demon. He took the Demon Slayer’s sword and mask, and decided to join the Demon Slayer Corps to find stronger opponents.
Inosuke’s life changed when he met Tanjiro Kamado and his friends during the Final Selection, a test to become a Demon Slayer. He was initially hostile and antagonistic towards them, especially Tanjiro, who he saw as a rival. He challenged Tanjiro to a fight, but was defeated and humbled by him. He then joined Tanjiro’s group and followed him on his missions to slay demons. He gradually developed a bond and friendship with them, and learned to respect and trust them. He also learned to be more compassionate and empathetic towards others, especially those who suffered from the demons. He still retained his wild and rebellious nature, but he also became more cooperative and supportive of his allies.
One of the most significant events in Inosuke’s life was his encounter with Doma, one of the Twelve Kizuki and the demon who killed his mother. Inosuke and his friend Kanao Tsuyuri fought against Doma, who revealed his connection to Inosuke’s past. Inosuke was shocked and enraged by the truth, and unleashed his full power and rage against Doma. He managed to injure Doma with the help of Kanao, but he was also severely wounded and lost consciousness. He was saved by Tanjiro, who finished off Doma with his own sword. Inosuke woke up and saw his mother’s face in Tanjiro’s hand, which was a part of Doma’s body. He realized that his mother was always watching over him, and he cried for the first time in his life. He thanked Tanjiro for avenging his mother, and hugged him. He also thanked Kanao for fighting with him, and called her by her name. He then vowed to continue fighting and living for his mother’s sake.
Inosuke’s personality continued to grow and mature as he faced more challenges and dangers with his friends. He became more confident and skilled in his swordsmanship, and developed new techniques and forms for his Beast Breathing. He also became more friendly and sociable with other people, and even learned to read and write. He still had his moments of impulsiveness and recklessness, but he also learned to be more cautious and strategic. He also learned to value his life and the lives of his friends, and to cherish the moments they had together. He became a loyal and reliable ally and friend to Tanjiro and his group, and a formidable and fearless warrior against the demons.
