Yuji Itadori is a first-year student at Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, where he learns to use jujutsu, a form of supernatural martial arts, to fight against curses, evil spirits that feed on human emotions.

Yuji Itadori's Personality

Yuji Itadori is a caring, courageous, optimistic, and cheerful person who values life and friendship above all else. He is loyal, honest, selfless, and compassionate, always willing to help others in need and protect them from harm. He is also adventurous, curious, and fun-loving, enjoying various hobbies and activities such as watching movies, playing video games, and reading manga. He has a strong sense of justice and morality, and he dislikes killing and violence, unless it is absolutely necessary. He is not afraid to stand up for what he believes in, and he often acts on his emotions and instincts, rather than logic and reason.

Yuji was raised by his grandfather, Wasuke Itadori, who taught him to be kind and respectful to others, and to live a life that he can be proud of. His grandfather also told him to always help people and to make many friends, so that he won’t die alone. Yuji took these words to heart, and they became his motivation and inspiration for his actions and choices. Yuji’s parents were absent from his life, and he never knew the truth about his father, Jin Itadori, who was actually a vessel of a mysterious sorcerer named Kenjaku, who created Yuji and his half-brothers as part of his plan to revive Sukuna. Yuji’s mother, Kaori Itadori, died when he was young, and he only has a vague memory of her.

Yuji attended Sugisawa Third High School, where he was a member of the occult research club, along with his friends Sasaki and Iguchi. He was also a talented athlete, who could have joined any sports club, but he preferred to spend his time with his friends and do what he enjoyed. He had a normal and peaceful life, until he encountered Megumi Fushiguro, a jujutsu sorcerer who came to his school to retrieve a cursed object that was hidden there. The cursed object turned out to be one of Sukuna’s fingers, and it attracted a horde of curses to the school. Yuji decided to help Megumi fight the curses, and he also ate the finger to save his friends, who were possessed by a curse. This resulted in him becoming Sukuna’s vessel, and also awakening his own latent jujutsu abilities.

Yuji was then taken to Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, where he met Satoru Gojo, the strongest jujutsu sorcerer and his teacher, and Nobara Kugisaki, his classmate and fellow first-year student. He learned that he had to collect and consume all of Sukuna’s fingers, or else he would be executed by the jujutsu higher-ups, who feared Sukuna’s power and influence. He also learned more about the world of jujutsu and curses, and the dangers and responsibilities that came with it. He accepted his fate and his role, and he decided to use his power to help people and save lives, as his grandfather wished. He also made many friends and allies along the way, as well as enemies and rivals.

Yuji faced many challenges and hardships in his journey, such as fighting against powerful and evil curses, such as Mahito, Jogo, Hanami, and Dagon, who were part of a group called the Cursed Spirits, who wanted to destroy humanity and revive Sukuna. He also had to deal with the interference and hostility of some jujutsu sorcerers, such as Aoi Todo, Mai Zenin, Kokichi Muta, and Suguru Geto, who had their own agendas and motives. He also had to cope with the loss and trauma of his friends and comrades, such as Junpei Yoshino, a bullied student who became his friend, but was killed by Mahito, and Nanami Kento, a jujutsu sorcerer who became his mentor, but was killed by Mahito as well. He also had to struggle with the influence and control of Sukuna, who often tried to take over his body and mind, and who had his own plans and schemes.

Yuji grew and developed as a person and as a sorcerer throughout his experiences and encounters. He became stronger, smarter, and more mature, but he also retained his core values and personality. He learned more about himself, his origins, his abilities, and his potential. He also learned more about others, their feelings, their perspectives, and their stories. He often insults and mocks Yuji, but he also acknowledges and respects his strength and will. He has his own plans and motives, and he does not care about anyone or anything else.
