Himiko Toga is a major antagonist in the anime and manga series My Hero Academia. She is a member of the League of Villains, a group of criminals who oppose the society of heroes and the law. She is part of the Vanguard Action Squad, a team of elite villains who specialize in covert operations and assassinations. She is also one of the nine lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front, a new organization formed by the merger of the League of Villains and the Meta Liberation Army.

Himiko Toga's Personality

Himiko Toga is a psychotic, sadistic, and eccentric girl who loves blood and violence. She is fascinated by the sight of blood and enjoys drinking the blood of her victims, especially those she has a crush on. She is also obsessed with becoming the people she loves, using her Quirk, Transform, to take on their appearance and personality. She believes that by doing so, she can understand them better and get closer to them. She is driven by a twisted sense of love and affection, which often manifests as jealousy and possessiveness. She wants to eliminate anyone who gets in the way of her love, or anyone who does not share her feelings. She is also very impulsive and reckless, acting on her whims and desires without much regard for the consequences.

Himiko’s personality is largely influenced by her childhood experiences and her Quirk. As a child, she developed a morbid interest in blood, which was seen as abnormal and deviant by her parents and society. She was forced to suppress her true self and act like a normal girl, attending Quirk counselling and hiding her feelings. She felt alienated and misunderstood, unable to express her love in the way she wanted. She also questioned why people do the things they do, and why her way of loving was wrong.

However, her repressed tendencies eventually resurfaced when she met a boy named Saito, who she developed a crush on. She attacked him with a box cutter and drank his blood, feeling a sense of ecstasy and relief. She realized that she could not live a normal life, and that she had to follow her heart. She ran away from home and became a fugitive, killing and draining the blood of several people. She joined the League of Villains, hoping to find a place where she could be herself and meet people who shared her views.

Himiko’s Quirk, Transform, allows her to take on the appearance and voice of anyone whose blood she ingests. She can also mimic their mannerisms and expressions, making her a skilled infiltrator and deceiver. However, her Quirk also reflects her desire to become the people she loves, and to experience the world through their eyes. She often uses her Quirk to impersonate her crushes, such as Ochaco Uraraka and Izuku Midoriya, and to interact with them or their friends. She also uses her Quirk to escape from danger or to confuse her enemies. She considers her Quirk to be a gift, and a way of expressing her love.

Himiko’s personality undergoes a significant change after she fights against Curious, a member of the Meta Liberation Army. During the battle, Curious tries to expose Himiko’s past and motives, and to make her join her cause. Himiko resists, and manages to kill Curious by using her Quirk to copy Ochaco’s Zero Gravity, which she unlocked after drinking Ochaco’s blood. She realizes that by drinking the blood of the people she loves, she can also acquire their Quirks and abilities. She feels a surge of joy and excitement, and declares that she is Himiko Toga, who lives and loves how she pleases. She also states that she wants to become stronger, and to meet more people who can make her feel alive. She becomes more confident and assertive, and more determined to pursue her goals.

Relationships

Tomura Shigaraki: Himiko respects and admires Tomura, the leader of the League of Villains and later the Paranormal Liberation Front. She considers him to be a friend and a comrade, and follows his orders without question. She also has a crush on him, and often tries to get his attention or affection. She is loyal and devoted to him, and will protect him from any harm. She shares his hatred for the hero society, and supports his vision of destroying it.
Dabi: Himiko has a friendly and playful relationship with Dabi, another member of the League of Villains and the Paranormal Liberation Front. They often work together on missions, and tease each other. She calls him by his real name, Toya, which he does not mind. She also trusts him, and confides in him about her feelings and problems. She considers him to be a good friend, and will help him when he is in trouble.
Twice: Himiko has a close and affectionate relationship with Twice, another member of the League of Villains and the Paranormal Liberation Front. They are partners and best friends, and often hang out together. They have a lot in common, as they are both mentally unstable and have traumatic pasts. They understand and accept each other, and provide emotional support and comfort. They also have fun and joke around, and enjoy each other’s company. Himiko loves Twice, and calls him by his real name, Jin. She is very protective of him, and will risk her life for him. She is devastated when he is killed by Hawks, and vows to avenge him.
Ochaco Uraraka: Himiko has an obsessive and twisted relationship with Ochaco, a student of U.A. High School and a hero-in-training. She is attracted to Ochaco, and wants to become her. She also believes that they are similar, as they both love Izuku. She stalks and attacks Ochaco, and drinks her blood. She uses her Quirk to impersonate Ochaco, and tries to get close to Izuku. She also tries to kill Ochaco, or anyone who interferes with her love. She is jealous and possessive of Ochaco, and does not care about her feelings or well-being. She considers Ochaco to be her rival, and her prey.
Izuku Midoriya: Himiko has a passionate and delusional relationship with Izuku, a student of U.A. High School and a hero-in-training. She is infatuated with Izuku, and wants to become him. She also believes that they are alike, as they both have strong and pure hearts. She stalks and attacks Izuku, and drinks his blood. She uses her Quirk to impersonate Izuku, and tries to get close to Ochaco. She also tries to kill Izuku, or anyone who interferes with her love. She is jealous and possessive of Izuku, and does not care about his feelings or well-being. She considers Izuku to be her ideal, and her target.
