Izuku Midoriya is the main protagonist of the anime and manga series My Hero Academia. He is a student at U.A. High School, where he trains to become a professional hero under the guidance of his mentor, All Might. He is the ninth and current holder of One For All, a powerful Quirk that grants him superhuman strength, speed, and durability.
Izuku Midoriya's Personality
Izuku is a kind, loyal, and courageous person who always strives to help others and uphold justice. He is determined, optimistic, and hardworking, never giving up on his dream of becoming a hero despite being born without a Quirk. He is also intelligent, analytical, and resourceful, using his knowledge and creativity to overcome various challenges and enemies. He is humble, respectful, and polite, often apologizing or bowing to others. He is also emotional, empathetic, and compassionate, crying easily and caring deeply for his friends and allies.
Izuku grew up as a Quirkless child in a world where most people have superpowers. He was often bullied and looked down upon by his peers, especially his childhood friend and rival, Katsuki Bakugo. He idolized All Might, the number one hero and symbol of peace, and dreamed of following in his footsteps. He studied heroes and their Quirks, hoping to find a way to become one himself. He also developed a habit of muttering to himself, which others found annoying or weird.
Izuku's life changed when he met All Might and proved his heroic spirit by trying to save Bakugo from a villain. All Might recognized Izuku's potential and decided to pass on his Quirk, One For All, to him. He also helped Izuku enroll in U.A. High School, the most prestigious hero academy in Japan. Izuku was overjoyed and grateful, but also nervous and insecure, as he had to learn how to control his new power and face fierce competition from his classmates.
Izuku faced many trials and tribulations during his first year at U.A. He had to deal with the physical and mental strain of using One For All, which often injured his body and caused him pain. He also had to fight against various villains, such as the League of Villains, the Shie Hassaikai, and the Paranormal Liberation Front, who targeted him and his friends for various reasons. He also had to cope with the truth about All Might's condition and his retirement, which left him with a heavy burden and responsibility as the successor of One For All.
Izuku also experienced many growth and development during his first year at U.A. He made many friends and allies, such as Ochaco Uraraka, Tenya Iida, Shoto Todoroki, Tsuyu Asui, and Eijiro Kirishima, who supported him and helped him improve. He also learned from many teachers and mentors, such as Shota Aizawa, Gran Torino, Mirio Togata, and Endeavor, who taught him various skills and techniques. He also unlocked more abilities and aspects of One For All, such as Blackwhip, Float, and Danger Sense, which increased his versatility and power. He also gained more confidence and maturity, becoming a leader and inspiration for his peers.
